Chapter 47: Not This Kind of Game
This was not the kind of game Meng Weiyu wanted to play.
He held the game controller in his hand, helplessly shook it once, then awkwardly and silently put it back into the cabinet.
Shen Zhoudu looked at him, stretched his hand forward, and handed him the rope.
“Do you really have to act that eager and deliver yourself to my door?” Meng Weiyu’s hand rested on the sofa as he looked up at Shen Zhoudu, somewhat helplessly teaching the good friend in his memories a few rules of getting along with people. “My bad qualities come in all kinds. Even if your conditions are good, I can easily look down on things that are already in my grasp and chase after things that are hard to obtain. Can’t you bait me a little and use some more advanced methods?”
Hearing this, Shen Zhoudu stretched both hands forward and used the rope in his hand to loop around Meng Weiyu’s neck.
Meng Weiyu: “…”
Shen Zhoudu crossed his hands, and the rope formed a state that completely circled Meng Weiyu.
With a little force, he could strangle him to death.
Meng Weiyu turned a blind eye to it and even wanted to roll his eyes. He did not believe Shen Zhoudu would actually do it.
“I can use some push-and-pull methods. Although I haven’t used them, that doesn’t mean I don’t know how.” Shen Zhoudu used a little force, tightening the rope. However, there was still some distance before it actually tightened around Meng Weiyu’s neck. “But you don’t like that type.”
Meng Weiyu himself was an expert at fishing. No matter how many hooks dangled in front of his eyes, he remained unmoved. Rather than biting the hook, he preferred watching others bite his.
This person had countless terrible qualities. Among them, the one that made Shen Zhoudu truly hate him enough to want to strangle him to death was this: if someone really took his bait, Meng Weiyu would soon grow tired of them.
With his personality, of course he had flirted ambiguously with others before.
But every time it was about to reach the final step, he would pull away.
Because nothing had truly happened yet, there was no proper reason to complain.
Although it was very improper to think this way about the person he loved, Shen Zhoudu had truly, with hatred, thought that the heavens should send down a giant bolt of lightning and strike this heartless bastard dead.
Because of you, my heart is covered in wounds.
Even after Meng Weiyu agreed to date Shen Zhoudu, Shen Zhoudu still felt Meng Weiyu would soon grow tired of him.
That was what he had thought back then.
Some thoughts changed, but some conclusions remained the same.
For example: playing hard-to-get with Meng Weiyu was like showing petty tricks before a master. The effect would be minimal.
“You really like playing hard-to-get.” After recovering more memories, Meng Weiyu’s opinion of Shen Zhoudu had already updated. “I often invited you, and you acted like you really wanted to agree, but in reality, you rejected me.”
That behavior had repeatedly made Meng Weiyu doubt his own charm and the friendship between them.
“You were too slow.” Shen Zhoudu could not help clicking his tongue. “I wanted to keep distance from you, so whenever I realized I was too obsessed with you, I thought I should pull away and calm down.”
“Wasn’t the frequency a bit too high?” Meng Weiyu had thought he had a split personality.
“That proves my heart kept being moved by you again and again.” Shen Zhoudu immediately answered.
“Heh.” Meng Weiyu propped up his chin and smiled frivolously, praising him, “Shen Zhoudu, you’re really good at talking.”
Shen Zhoudu smiled. The rope had already tightened against Meng Weiyu’s neck as he said, “You’ve said so much to me. In the end, do you want to play with me, or should I just kill you?”
Meng Weiyu was silent for a moment. Then he raised his hand and easily slipped his fingers into the rope. He pulled backward with force, and Shen Zhoudu released his hands. With a slight hook of his fingers, Meng Weiyu hooked the rope into his hand and sighed helplessly. “I don’t know what exactly you and I used to do before, but the current me is clearly refusing you for your sake.”
“If you want to know how you and I played, just look at your phone.” Shen Zhoudu, of course, knew what was in Meng Weiyu’s phone.
Meng Weiyu pressed his lips together, displeased that his speech had been interrupted, but he still continued, “The current me has neither the skill nor the awareness. Are you really not afraid I’ll strangle you to death?”
Shen Zhoudu laughed, bent down, and leaned in front of Meng Weiyu. He brushed against his face, his mouth pressing against Meng Weiyu’s ear. His tempting words fell on Meng Weiyu’s skin like warm breath. “I believe you won’t. Come do something bad.”
Hearing this, Meng Weiyu smiled and looped the rope around his neck.
In an instant, Shen Zhoudu’s breathing grew heavier.
The curtains in the living room were drawn, and the lights were adjusted to a dim state. Shen Zhoudu’s face was covered with a blindfold. His upper body was bound with red rope, his hands tied behind his back. He lay sideways on the floor, his chest rising and falling with his breathing.
The sound of wine being poured rang out.
Meng Weiyu held a glass of red wine and sat cross-legged on the single sofa, expressionlessly taking a sip. His eyes shifted to the right corner of his eye, and he looked indifferently at Shen Zhoudu lying on the floor.
This kind of body really did suit rope art. No wonder Shen Zhoudu had changed from the relatively thin youth of before into his current appearance.
Having lost his vision, Shen Zhoudu became especially sensitive to every tiny sound. He had been tied too tightly. The best solution was not to move around, but he still could not help shifting his head slightly, just to better identify the current position of the other person in the room.
Meng Weiyu raised an eyebrow. After lifting his head and drinking a sip of red wine, he casually placed the glass on the table.
The sound it made was incredibly clear.
Meng Weiyu leaned back against the sofa and began to doubt whether his decision was correct.
He admitted that at first, he had thought Shen Zhoudu was a little annoying and wanted to casually do something to send him away. But when he truly reached this extent, he discovered that a certain… pleasant emotion was gradually rising in his heart.
Putting someone in the palm of his hand and playing them in circles was truly interesting.
However, rules that had been set could not be changed casually.
When playing a game, following the rules was also a kind of pleasure.
Meng Weiyu smiled and propped up his chin, looking at Shen Zhoudu, who had clearly fallen into fantasy in the darkness, suffering yet feeling pleasure. He finally understood why Shen Zhoudu always wanted to record videos.
The watch placed on the table made the sound of the timer ending. With a “da,” Shen Zhoudu’s body trembled.
“All right, time’s up.” Meng Weiyu moved around the table and came beside Shen Zhoudu.
He first pulled Shen Zhoudu into his arms. Then he slipped his fingers inside the blindfold and, with a hook of his hand, removed it.
After being exposed to light for a while, Shen Zhoudu blinked. Then what he saw was Meng Weiyu’s smiling face as Meng Weiyu praised him, “You did very well. You didn’t speak within the set time, and you didn’t move around.”
Shen Zhoudu still did not speak, but judging from his movements, he leaned even closer toward Meng Weiyu.
Meng Weiyu had not sat steady and was nearly pressed backward by him.
“Don’t move around. I’m loosening the rope.” Did he know that, for Meng Weiyu, untying it was harder than tying it?
“You’d better move faster.” Shen Zhoudu’s breathing grew more and more urgent.
“Pervert.” Meng Weiyu had long noticed the change in his body.
Shen Zhoudu was thrilled to be scolded by him.
Meng Weiyu did his best to untie the rope, then touched Shen Zhoudu’s neck and instructed, “Go deal with it yourself.”
“Can I?” Shen Zhoudu turned around. The way he looked at Meng Weiyu seemed like he wanted to eat him alive.
“Hey.” Meng Weiyu raised his hand and blocked half of his face, directly stopping his movement. “You’re way too greedy. I knew something was wrong. You fed me until I was full because you wanted to go all the way today.”
Shen Zhoudu did not move.
“All right, fine. You can have one kiss. Then go solve your own problem.” Meng Weiyu compromised.
Shen Zhoudu immediately turned over and used his marked hands to press Meng Weiyu’s wrists down against the sofa.
Meng Weiyu was frightened by his ferocious appearance. His head involuntarily leaned back, directly resting against the sofa cushion.
Shen Zhoudu held his wrists down and lowered his head, kissing him.
Their lips alternated, tongues moved, and sounds came out.
Meng Weiyu was pressed down by the heavy body with nowhere to escape.
He did not know how long they kissed before Shen Zhoudu finally released his hands and returned to his room.
Meng Weiyu stared at the ceiling with a red face and admitted that Shen Zhoudu had not lied.
He was good to kiss.
After realizing what thought he had just produced, Meng Weiyu trembled as he went upstairs back to his room, his footsteps like that of a tired old man entering the sunset years of his life.
So scary, so scary.
To celebrate finally ending his magnificent and turbulent day, Meng Weiyu returned to his room and soaked in hot water in the bathtub for a long time.
After the water cooled, he slowly stood up and opened the bathroom door.
“You took too long to bathe.” Shen Zhoudu, who had changed into pajamas and was sitting on the bed, turned his head to look at him.
Meng Weiyu was so startled that he stepped back. His back directly hit the doorframe with a loud sound, and he instinctively shot back, “You took longer!”
Under the soft light, Shen Zhoudu lowered his head. Then he patted the bed and said, “Sleep soon.”
“I am going to sleep. What are you doing here?” Meng Weiyu discovered that Shen Zhoudu was really taking a mile after being given an inch.
“Sleeping,” Shen Zhoudu answered. After noticing Meng Weiyu watching him warily, he had no choice but to emphasize, “Purely sleeping.”
Meng Weiyu: “…”
There was no use continuing to stand at the door, so he could only carefully move to the other side of the bed and sit on the edge.
Shen Zhoudu was amused by him and said, “I’m turning off the lights.”
“Oh.”
After Shen Zhoudu turned off the lights, he covered himself with his own quilt and honestly lay down.
The bed was so large that there was probably enough space for two more people to sleep between them.
Meng Weiyu felt relieved and groped his way onto the bed. Then he stuffed himself under the quilt. After confirming that there was no danger, he quickly closed his eyes.
“Don’t let me find out you did something while I was asleep.” After being quiet for a while, Meng Weiyu still could not help warning him.
“Heh.” Shen Zhoudu said, “Sleep.”
Meng Weiyu’s hand was hidden under the quilt, his fingers gripping the blanket. He suddenly opened his eyes and turned his head to glare over.
Why didn’t he agree? He seemed very suspicious!
Meng Weiyu waited for a while and discovered that his worries were unnecessary, because Shen Zhoudu fell asleep very quickly.
A dreamless night. It seemed he had no psychological burden over what they had done that evening.
When Meng Weiyu opened his eyes again, it was because the phone alarm beside the table rang.
He opened his eyes in a daze. Just after turning off the alarm, he discovered Shen Zhoudu coming out of the bathroom, already fully dressed.
Day after day, where exactly did his energy come from?
Meng Weiyu put on a grumpy expression from being woken up and weakly looked at Shen Zhoudu.
“I’ll go to the company first. Lin Xiao will come pick you up later.” Shen Zhoudu greeted him.
Meng Weiyu waved at him.
Hurry up and leave. I don’t want to see you anymore.
Shen Zhoudu smiled and walked toward him.
Meng Weiyu felt there was no meaning in life. He knew he was about to be harassed.
Shen Zhoudu walked in front of him, lowered his head, and lightly kissed one side of his neck.
He did not do anything more excessive, but Meng Weiyu smelled a pleasant fragrance from him. So when Shen Zhoudu pulled away and stepped back, Meng Weiyu’s head tilted up slightly, instinctively wanting to lean closer.
“Bye-bye.” Shen Zhoudu pushed up his glasses, schemes hidden under his expressionless face.
Just as Meng Weiyu had said, how had he not played hard-to-get?
Clearly, he was playing little tricks on Meng Weiyu at every moment.
